Invitation for Women's Event at Carbon- WAITLIST ONLY
The Carbon team is excited to share that on Monday, March 2nd at 3pm PT (until 4pm), the renowned tech reporter and media personality KARA SWISHER will be speaking at Carbon for a special edition of #CarbonTalks.
Kara is something of a legend in journalism, and in Silicon Valley. She’s been covering tech since the early 90s—beginning her career with Washington Post before covering Silicon Valley companies and culture for the Wall Street Journal. In 2003, she partnered with Walt Mossberg, the father of tech reviews, to launch the All Things Digital conference and publication. For many people, AllThingsD.com pioneered startup company reporting, analysis, and coverage. Kara then went on to found with Walt what many considered the technology bible, Recode (now Recode by Vox) in 2014.
Kara’s longevity is a testament to her intelligence, persistence, and prescience. Her conferences attract some of the biggest names in the tech world. When Steve Jobs and Bill Gates finally agreed to join each onstage for a landmark joint session, they chose to do so at the All Things Digital conference, with Kara moderating the historic event.
As a reporter, editor, columnist, advisor, and podcast host, Kara is known for her legendary scoops and for holding the most powerful executives, politicians and leaders accountable for their actions and their behavior. Kara is so ingrained in tech culture, she’s even played herself on HBO’s Silicon Valley. She has interviewed everyone from President Obama to Elon Musk. And now, Team Carbon, we get to interview her!
First 20 ReBooters to respond will get to attend the event and reception!
