Global Field Marketing Director

As the Verodin Global Field Marketing Director, you will oversee all demand generation campaign development including theme development, asset creation direction, and measurement. Working with the CMO, this position will need to be both player and coach, require resourcefulness and grit, interact with and support a fast-paced sales team, and contribute to the overall success of Verodin’s growth plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has proven experience building comprehensive B2B demand gen campaigns that are highly targeted and results-driven. We require a self-starter who will bring ideas to the table and manage to metrics. Verodin is in high growth mode so being able to work in a dynamic environment is a must while having a personality that is flexible, fun, and approachable.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Prioritize and manage multiple demand generation campaigns and own the process from budget and concept creation to campaign execution and ongoing ROI

  • Evaluate and recommend best practices for demand gen including audience engagement, digital marketing tactics, social media, content building, and asset creation

  • Deepen and evolve marketing integration with sales at a regional and national level to improve the sales-marketing integration process and increase ROI for demand generation. Work closely the Channel Partner team to identify needs and ensure that the partners are included in all campaign rollouts

  • Work with Customer Success to enhance customer-focused marketing and engage customers for testimonials, speaking engagements, etc.

  • Oversee the event team and ensure that they are part of the overall demand gen strategy by aligning the strategy for events with overall marketing goals

  • Lead by example, as the Global Field Marketing Director, the team will look to you to provide direction, troubleshoot challenges while executing a solution-based approach to meet objectives

  • Attend industry events and identify emerging best practices, communicate key learnings to the larger team while considering how to implement it into your work

  • Review quantitative and qualitative reporting to provide feedback and key learnings related to executional trends and opportunities. Provide insight and present back to the team to improve our program

What you bring to the table:

  • You are a strong producer, with 7-10 years professional experience, who has successfully managed end-to-end campaigns at a software company (cybersecurity experience preferred)

  • You have a strong general marketing educational or career background that lends itself to field and/or event marketing

  • A strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail; the ability to understand the overall business and marketing strategy

  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence and motivate team members, especially those that don’t report to you

  • Exceptional track record and willingness to be a player more often than a coach

  • Have strong written and verbal skills, communicating across departments and with a remote team - must be able to engage a large team and be accountable to time sensitive deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize and juggle many tasks

  • You get personal satisfaction when cracking a tough problem and you just want to get things done and make an impact

 Tools You’ve Mastered:

  • Microsoft Office

  • Salesforce experience

  • Pardot use preferred but not required

  • PowerPoint - strong experience required

  • Google Suite

  • Google Drive - file sharing, versioning and folder management

  • Social Media understanding
