About the Customer Sales Operations Lead role: 

We’re hiring someone stellar to focus on Customer Sales Operations. Based in San Francisco, you’ll be joining a thriving customer team and reporting to the Head of Customer Experience.

This team is highly collaborative and cross-functional. This role will have the ability to impact and learn about every part of the business and to transform the lives of our customers.

As our first Customer Sales Operations hire at the company, you will help the company’s customer team dramatically expand our impact. By helping us improve our sales conversions and operations our entire customer pipeline, you will set us up for massive growth in 2019.

From day one, you will...

    • Sales Workflow Optimization. Coordinate, design and manage sales workflows to ensure customers get the right messages at the right time, using the right mode of communication. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that thousands of potential buyers are being appropriately engaged to keep moving through the process.

    • Analytics Ownership. Own analytics for customer conversion funnel, helping us identify opportunities like: How can we enable customers to book a time to speak with our team more quickly? Which email messages are empowering customers to take the next step in the process? How should the customer journey differ for folks who enter through different channels? Lead analysis to help us identify how daily operations and special projects are going.

    • Data Maintenance. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and scorecards to track customer team’s OKRs. Develop processes to ensure we have up to date and accurate for daily, weekly and quarterly reporting.

    • Process Improvements. Support implementation of internal process improvements and enabling systems/ tools, such as a new phone system or analytics reporting tool. Ensure the Customer team has the tools and training on new systems to effectively do their work.

    • Collaboration. Work closely with the entire Customer Team -- including Customer Development and Customer Account Management -- to provide a seamless, joyful experience to our customers.

You're an ideal candidate if:

    • You have 2 years of experience working with in a high-growth environment. You may have worked in sales operations or business analytics in a tech/entrepreneurial environment, product management, management consulting / venture capital.

    • You are excited to work hard, dive in and learn the ins and outs of a growing company.

    • You have a comfort and a willingness to learn our systems (Hubspot, Slack, etc).

We'd be even more excited if you have:

    • Experience with marketing and sales automation tools.

    • Prior experience at an education, financial services, or real estate organization.

This is a full-time, exempt role based in San Francisco, CA. The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000 with meaningful equity at a high-profile, Series A start-up.
