The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Office Manager to support the growing needs of our business and be the backbone of our office operations and culture. Your focus will be on creating an excellent and unique workplace experience for our employees. You’re always ready for new challenges and willing to take full ownership of anything that comes your way.

Here are some ways you’ll make an impact:

  • You’ll help foster a dynamic and engaging workplace culture by organizing company events, milestone celebrations, and weekly lunches for 200+ employees

  • You’ll keep employees informed about upcoming events, holidays, and workplace updates

  • You’ll always be two steps ahead in planning out our space needs, including supporting the search, designing and building out new office spaces, expansions, as well as capacity and space planning with  potential management of multiple sites

  • You’ll anticipate and proactively address employee needs — e.g., accommodating dietary restrictions; providing solutions to workplace inefficiencies; planning events that are accessible and inclusive

  • You’ll ensure a clean, well organized, and welcoming office for employees and visitors

  • You’ll manage office related vendors and building management relationships

  • You’ll manage ordering, inventory and maintenance of all furniture, equipment, office and kitchen supplies

  • You’ll oversee all incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, FedEx and UPS shipments

  • You’ll assist HR with new hire preparations, records management and special projects

  • You’ll create and manage office budget

  • You’ll find solutions that strike the right balance of budget, timing, and scope to support workplace needs as we scale

Are you our Senior Office Manager?

  • You must have 5-7 years of relevant office management experience in a start-up environment; event planning experience is required

  • You have experience supporting new office searches and managing moves and strategic space planning for 300+ employees; managing multiple sites and experience in international office expansion is a plus

  • You’re sharp, proactive, and able to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure

  • You’re exceptionally well-organized and attentive to detail

  • You are customer-focused and have great people skills, high empathy, and a positive attitude

  • You are reliable and work autonomously to get things done. You don’t let things fall through the cracks

  • You have the proven ability to brainstorm/implement systems to improve the office experience

  • You are creative and bring new thoughts, ideas and solutions; we need someone who doesn’t just do what they’ve always done, or what other companies do

  • You are an excellent communicator (both written and verbal)

  • You have experience with Google Apps, Slack, Concur or similar expense management system
